My fondest memories of Lizzy have been in most recent years, following Lizzy’s and our move back to the Bedford area. Many an afternoon spent whiling away the long lockdown hours, often sitting out in the sunshine, mutually enjoying a strong cup of tea or a Bacardi and coke, nattering about life. Lizzy shares warm memories of growing up in Nottingham, meeting Neil, hanging out in London and her Australian adventures. She never failed to keep me updated on how everyone in the family was doing. We had a lot in common and she has a keen ear for all thing education (well, so long as we kept the politics out of it ). Lizzy always showed a keen interest in what we are all up to, too. Even managing to keep up with all things to do with the Kabi children’s activities and schooling! I’m not entirely sure how. We have thoroughly enjoyed and laughed our way through family meet ups which we are going to miss terribly. We are going to truly miss your determined and exuberant character, Lizzy. May you rest in peace.
